Indoor comfort guaranteed

Comfort today is measured and certified on a national and international scale by the standards EN-15251 and EN-ISO 7730. They are based on precise physical data such as the vertical temperature gradient, radiation asymmetry and the air speed. CIAT is committed to respecting the current standards for comfort and offers products which provide a high level of quality and performance. Its comfort units allow you to attain the highest comfort rating (Category I) in your building.

Category I
High level, spaces occupied by sensitive people (the elderly, handicapped, ill, young children)

Category II
Normal level expected for
new buildings and renovations

Category III
Expected acceptable moderate level
which can be used in existing buildings

Category IV
Values outside the criteria mentioned above (acceptable
only for a limited part of the year)

 

 

Standard EN-ISO 7730

This standard proposes methods for predicting the general thermal sensation and the degree of discomfort (thermal dissatisfaction) of people exposed to moderate environments. It enables the analytical determination and interpretation of thermal comfort by calculating the PMV (Predicted Mean Vote) and PPD (Predicted Percentage Dissatisfied) for each comfort criterion. There is a classification from A (high requirement) to C (low requirement), depending on the range of results.
